One of the most awaited update of 2012 Blackberry PlayBook OS v2.0 has finally released. It was expected to release on or before 15th of February but unfortunately due to some technical reasons RIM (Research in Motion) released it today on 21st of February 2012. Blackberry Playbook OS 2.0 now supports many new features in which most expected were Android support and email to the playbook.
What's new in Blackberry Playbook OS 2.0?
1. Android support:
The older versions of Blackberry Playbook OS 2.0 were lagging with android support feature. But the new update now supports to use unlimited number of Android apps in the updated OS.
2. New feature BlackBerry bridge:
Its a new feature in the updated BlackBerry playbook OS 2.0 called BackBerry Bridge. This feature lets you to use the new BlackBerry smartphone as a remote control for your playbook.
3. Many In-Built functions:
You don't need to download gadgets and install in the new updated PlayBook OS 2.0 because the new OS in now built-in with lot many new gadgets like email, contacts, calendar and lot more. You can now manage multiple email accounts in a single mail box.
4. New feature Opens on:
Opens on is a new feature in the new updated OS of Blackberry PlayBook. Its feature lets you to connect in between the BlackBerry smartphone and BlackBerry PlayBook. Its let you in opening the videos, images, links, pdf and txt documents from BlackBerry smartphone onto your BlackBerry Playbook.
5. Calender with in-built Social Integration:
Calender itself is a new built-in feature in new updated Blackberry PlayBook OS 2.0. It now supports social integration in calendar. You need to add your social accounts in to your calender. It automatically drives the information from all your integrated social accounts like events, birthday notifications and much more.
