I actually moved on to wordpress with free hosting(lockernerd)
I thought it was awesome
but bottomline it isn't. Actually wordpress is great only when you have paid hosting
Here are the disadvantages you face when you go for free hosting

• Your site links aren't displayed mostly
• You don't get  traffic at all through search results 
• Your database may be down often 
• No alexa!

So i would say it is a waste to go to wordpress
