Cons of Using Smart Phones...

A smartphone is supposed to keep you connected with the world at your fingertips, but is it just stressing you out? A new study from the University of Worcester suggests staying connected is stress-inducing for those that feel they can never sign off.
Study volunteers admit their constant checking and rechecking for new notifications has them experiencing phantom vibrations, believing their phone is chirping for attention even in those rare moments it’s not.
Most of the participants originally began using smartphones to keep up with work on the go, which quickly spiraled into 24/7 replies to emails, tweets, and Facebook messages.
Companies are starting to react to the pressures of work-life balance in the face of technology. Volkswagen, for example, shuts off its BlackBerry email server outside of office hours so employees can recharge without a mobile distraction. Are you feeling the stress of being tethered to a smartphone?

The great problem with Nokia is they use the outdated Symbian platform. While it may have a loyal following, it is simply not as user-friendly and attractive as other platforms currently available on the market. Nokia needs to focus on attracting new customers, while retaining current customers at the same time.
Secondly, Nokia is Finnish company and always has been. The company’s last CEO, Olli-Pekka Kallasvou, was fired after his strategy failed to keep the company growing.Nokia is trying to remain in market with its new N9 and related Windows 7 operated mobiles. But both Android and apple's platform is already developed with over millions of apps currently available in the Market. Can you compare these to about 15,000 apps on Windows Phone?Wierd? The main thing they can do to prevail is to sell these windows mobiles at cheapest prices.
Analysts from Pyramid Research are saying that Windows Phone 7 will pass Android and become the number one smartphone platform in 2013 thanks to Nokia. Previously, analysts claimed that it wouldn’t be until 2015 that Windows Phone 7 moved into the number one spot, but Nokia’s announcement pushed that up to 2013.You will be able to see two to three Windows 7 powered Mobiles by the year end.
So what will Nokia's future be?Let’s hope they are right about their Window key, and that new Nokia Windows Phones will be enough pull the Nokia out of this fall.

Will Nokia survive in this situation?

With the prevailing situation,I dont think Nokia will.Firstly Nokia is facing a great competition in the market. Apple’s iPhone smartphone has grown its market share 114.9 percent when comparing first quarter of 2010 to first quarter of 2011. Meanwhile, Google’s Android OS has 35 percent of the market share right now and has the advantage of being popular among other phone manufacturers. The growth of these two platforms have quickly begun taking away from Nokia’s market share.

Black Berry Playbook-The most challenging Ipad 2 rival
Posted by
Anonymous on 12/31/2011
The device runs with a new OS called QNX, with quirky features like bridging to a BlackBerry phone for secure email and an oddly confusing initial setup, the PlayBook gets credit for being fast and nimble on a dual-core 1GHz processor.
Its has a 3MP awesome front-facing camera, a 5MP rear-facing one, a bright and crisp 1200x600 resolution screen, a light 425g body and all the typical gyro, accelerometer and GPS sensors and you have the makings for a powerful 7-inch tablet.
The powerful multi-tasking, where you can run a video in one window and play a game in another with both apps running concurrently, is a first of its kind for a mainstream tab.
File storage capabilities, support for an HDMI connection for playing 1080p video and a slick interface make the PlayBook an interesting anomaly. Unfortunately, the overall experience can't compete with either the iPad 2 or the Xoom, and even falters compared to the original Samsung Galaxy Tab.
This awesome tablet costs rs16000 in Indian markets and with a few bargainig power you can get it at a street price of 13500 for the 16gb. There are 32GB and 64GB versions available), the PlayBook is the same price as the entry-level 16GB Apple iPad 2.
The Playbook is much smaller than the ipad 2 and it easily fit in your pockets....
